About

Hi, I’m Madison Karasek, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I work primarily with teens (10+) and young adults through their 30s—especially people who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or like their mental health has gotten a little out of hand. A lot of my clients are thoughtful, high-achieving, and caring people who can hold it together for everyone else… until their body finally taps out. My style is warm, casual, and real. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like two humans in a room together—honest, compassionate, and safe enough to actually say the thing you’ve been holding in. I’m a big believer in the therapeutic value of humor, warmth, and genuine connection. Sometimes we’ll laugh. Sometimes we’ll sit with heavy feelings. Often it’s both. I’m especially passionate about working with anxiety and panic attacks. As someone who has experienced anxiety and panic disorder, I truly understand how scary and exhausting it can feel when symptoms start running the show. That’s a big part of why I care so much about helping people who feel stuck in that cycle and want relief. In our work together, we’ll talk it out, build realistic goals, and use coping skills that fit your actual life—not a perfect life. Whether you need a place to vent, help making sense of what’s happening, or tools to feel more grounded day to day, I’ll meet you where you are and be in your corner as you find your footing again.
